Summer is the hottest season of the year, often humid and sticky.  It's the season when water play is provided almost every day, and watermelon, fruit and popsicles are eaten in abundance. 
 
Teaching children about the season of SUMMER is an exciting and enriching experience that engages their senses and fosters a deeper connection with the natural world.  Children bring connection and meaning to the word 'summer' when they feel the warmth of the sun on their skin, hear the buzzing of insects, see the vibrant colours of blooming flowers, and smell the fresh scent of cut grass.  The activities educators provide will enhance children's learning as they combine cognitive thinking with the sensory experiences that connects children to their environment and the world around them.
