Teaching children about autumn includes learning about and watching the changing colours of nature. It’s a time of outdoor play and learning about the passage of time. Autumn is a transition that shows us how to embrace life just like the falling of leaves that bring about a change of cycle to plants.
Our 'Autumn' curriculum will encourage children to explore nature. Activities will help them to learn through curiosity and discovery. Activities include themed sensory trays, gross motor and fine motor skill development. Children will identify pictures that represent the season, while also engaging in math, language and scientific experiments.
Teaching children about Autumn also encourages a sense of responsibility and care for the environment. This months theme will foster curiosity, sensory development, and creativity within children while providing them with an understanding of the changing world around them.
